If someone does not comply with a Tenancy Tribunal determination then you should consider your enforcement options. Tribunal orders are binding and enforceable through the District Courts once they have been sealed. Keep in mind that, under rule 7 of the Residential Tenancies Rules 2010, Tenancy Mediators’ orders must be sealed within 6 months of the date they were made. If the order was a conditional order at first, then that 6 month time limit runs from the date it became a final order.

See those parts of this text about enforcement generally and choosing an enforcement option, as well as the chapter on enforcement in the District Court for more.
